5pcs x LM35 LM35DZ Precision Centigrade/Celsius Temperature Sensor

The LM35 is an integrated analog temperature sensor with an electrical output directly proportional to the temperature in degrees Centigrade. It does not require external calibration or trimming for typical accuracy. The LM35’s low output impedance, linear output, and precise calibration simplify interfacing with readout or control circuitry.

No additional components are needed to connect the LM35 to an ADC since its output is linear at a scale of 10mV/degree. It can be directly connected to any 10 or 12-bit ADC. However, for an 8-bit ADC like the ADC0808 or ADC0804, an amplifier is necessary to detect a 1°C change.

The LM35 can also be directly connected to an Arduino. Its temperature output can be fed to a comparator circuit for over-temperature indication or connected to a relay to function as a temperature controller.

The LM35 is designed to operate from −55°C to 150°C, while the LM35C is rated for −40°C to 110°C (−10° with improved accuracy). The LM35 series is available in hermetic TO transistor packages, whereas the LM35C, LM35CA, and LM35D are offered in the plastic TO-92 transistor package. The LM35D is also available in an 8-lead surface-mount small-outline package and a plastic TO-220 package.
