The Creality Carborundum Glass Platform Kit is designed to be a replacement for the stock build surface on your 3D printer. This kit includes a 235mm x 235mm x 4mm thick piece of carborundum glass, which is a type of high-performance ceramic material that is known for its hardness and durability.
Carborundum glass is ideal for use as a build surface for 3D printing because it has a very flat and smooth surface, which helps ensure that your prints adhere well and have a high level of detail. Additionally, carborundum glass is resistant to high temperatures, making it suitable for use with a wide range of 3D printing materials, including PLA, ABS, PETG, and more.
To use the Creality Carborundum Glass Platform Kit, simply remove the existing build surface on your 3D printer and replace it with the carborundum glass plate. Be sure to level your bed properly before printing to ensure good adhesion and a successful print. It’s also recommended to apply a thin layer of glue stick or hairspray to the surface to further improve adhesion.

Temperature Settings Recommendations for Different 3D Printer Filaments
- PLA: 50-70ºC
- Flexible filament: 50-70ºC
- ABS: 100-125ºC (110ºC is recommended)
- PC: 100-130ºC (120ºC is recommended)
- Nylon: 90-120ºC (110ºC is recommended)
- PP: 100-130ºC (120 ºC is recommended)
- PETG: 50-70ºC
