Description

The DWIN PGT05 JTAG 7 Pin Burner/Adapter Board is typically used for programming or debugging PGT05 series TFT (Thin Film Transistor) displays, which are commonly used in embedded systems or display-based products. JTAG (Joint Test Action Group) is a standard for interfacing with microcontrollers, processors, and memory devices for debugging, programming, and testing purposes.

Interface:

  • VCC : Power input
  • TMS – Mode selection
  • TCK – Clock
  • TDI input
  • TDO : Output
  • GND : GND
  • GND : GND
  • Burn start button- PRG -/Burn success indicator- CODE – /Burning status light – RWR – /Power indicator

Kernel burning operation process:

  • Connect a 5V power supply and press the pin on the product’s programming hole to ensure a normal connection
  • Note: When programming a screen with a large backlight power consumption, you need to unplug the backlight of the screen first to avoid the inability to burn due to insufficient power supply.
  • Press the programming start button once, the status indicator light will stop flashing, and the programming success indicator will light up to complete.
  • Note: If the burning status light stops flashing and the burning success indicator does not light up, it means that the burning has failed. Please check the connection and operate again.

Update kernel file operation process:

  • Copy the kernel file to the DWIN_SET folder in the root directory of the TF card.
  • The kernel program name must be changed to T5UIC1V10.BIN to support the update
  • Insert the TF card into the TF card slot of the writer
  • Turn on the 5V power supply and wait for about 2 seconds after the update is completed, the flashing status light flashes once, and the flashing success indicator lights up to complete.
  • Note: If the burning status indicator flashes once and the burning success indicator does not light up, it means that the update has failed, and you need to check and operate again
