The EC200U-CN LTE Cat 1 wireless communication module, developed by Quectel, is used by the 7Semi LTE 4G GPS Mini Modem.

QuecOpen, a module from the EC200U series, allows data connections over GSM/GPRS, LTE-FDD, and LTE-TDD networks.

It also supports GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS). The flexible features of the EC200U series QuecOpen module are very advantageous for M2M applications.

The 7Semi 4G LTE antenna is compatible with BLE and LoRa/RF and covers 700–2700 MHz, making it ideal for applications that demand a wide frequency range.

This antenna has an IPEX (u.FL equivalent) connector and measures 52 x 24 mm. Its 3M adhesive backing makes it simple to attach to your project.

Kindly follow the subsequent instructions to perform a firmware update:

  • Install USB derivers
  • Connect USB to PC
  • Check ports in device manager
  • Send AT+QDOWNLOAD=1 command on AT port of the module
  • Check ports in device manager for SPRD U2S Diag port
  • Open Qflash
  • Select SPRD U2S Diag port
  • Select baud rate: 921600
  • Browse .pac file from f/w path
  • Click on the start
  • Wait to f/w upgrade. You will get pass massage in QFLASH.
