This is Mini Ultra-Small Size ESP- M3 from ESP8285 Serial Wireless WiFi Transmission Module Fully Compatible with ESP8266 AT the Firmware. ESP8285 delivers highly integrated WiFi SoC solution to meet users’ continuous demands for efficient power usage, compact design and reliable performance in the Internet of Things industry. With the complete and self-contained WiFi networking capabilities, ESP8285 can perform either as a standalone application or as the slave to a host MCU.
The ESP8285 M3 WiFi Module is a highly technological electronic component specially developed to connect robotic or home automation projects to the World Wide Web (Internet), with greater ease and low cost.
It consists of the ESP8285 chip, supporting the most used networks today (802.11 b/g/n), prepared for low-power wireless communication, operating with the Wi-Fi network in 2.4GHz frequency, having support for WPA, PA2PSK and WPS.
In practice, the ESP8285 M3 WiFi Module is used to connect your projects to wireless data networks, where it is possible to exchange information between microcontrollers, sensors or send them to a smartphone, preventing the creation of tangles of wires in your home, in the case of home automation projects.
